1. Independent monitoring utility
BasecampCheck is an independent monitoring utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated in partnership with Parks Canada, the US National Park Service, Recreation.gov, ReserveCalifornia, Disney, AXS, FrontGate, Ticketmaster, or any federal, provincial, state, or municipal park authority. All registered trademarks, logos, and service marks remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Affiliate compensation disclosure
BasecampCheck contains affiliate links to outdoor gear, vehicle rentals, and regional experiences. If you click a partner link and make a purchase, BasecampCheck may earn a monetary commission at no additional cost to you. Recommendations are selected based on trip requirements and gear specifications.
Some links are ordinary retailer links and may not currently generate commission. Catalog prices, badges and sample recommendations are illustrative unless specifically verified. Confirm current price, suitability, availability and terms with the retailer. Compensation does not guarantee product safety, performance or suitability for your trip.
3. Reservations, events and pricing
An alert is information, not a reservation, ticket, permit, queue position or right of entry. Book directly with the official provider. Availability can change before a notification arrives; release dates and sample drop messages must be checked against official sources. Venue rules, vehicle restrictions, resale eligibility and third-party refunds remain your responsibility.
4. Safety, forecasts and navigation
Radar telemetry, weather dashboards and briefing previews labeled sample are not live safety reports. Do not rely on BasecampCheck for emergency decisions, evacuation, wildfire avoidance, avalanche assessment, wildlife safety, road status or medical advice. Consult park authorities, official weather and emergency services before and during travel. Call local emergency services for an emergency.
Maps and coordinates may be incomplete or inaccurate; verify the official entrance, road conditions, closures and vehicle access. Street View and offline map coverage vary. Our Offline Scout reminder is guidance only; BasecampCheck does not download maps or guarantee offline navigation. Equipment rules, including bear-spray transport and festival restrictions, vary by location.
